Guerra-Peixe César – Sonata for Guitar
He was born in Petrópolis , the son of Portuguese immigrants Francisco Antonio Guerra-Peixe and Anna Adelaide Guerra-Peixe, who had arrived in Brazil in 1893.
César was the youngest of ten brothers. His father, who was an amateur musician, began to teach him play the guitar at the age of six.
